Our Program
Sheer Elegance Entertainment 4 at Risk Youth aims to help at-risk youth by providing them with a safe space to discuss their personal feelings, goals, leadership, entrepreneurship, and the challenges they face in everyday life. We believe mentoring, community speakers, and group meetings are effective ways to achieve this goal. Our program focuses on helping youth overcome obstacles such as drugs, gangs, addiction, and education. We believe that music is the universal language of love, and our motto is to allow our youth to express themselves through their music, poetry, acting, and arts.
Our program focuses on the 3C's of mentorship: Connection, Communication, and Collaboration.
Our program offers various activities that teach the fundamentals of studio recording and the instruments of their choice, including piano, drums, bass guitar, and acting classes. We also provide DJ training, stage setup, and sound equipment. In addition, Sheer Elegance 4 At Risk Youth will perform in concerts for their community and take part in different field trips through the program.
Connection
We believe that forging a connection between the mentor and mentee is crucial for establishing a positive relationship.
Communication
Communication is the backbone of our program, and honesty is crucial in articulating and sharing our experiences and past mistakes.
Collaboration
Collaboration is integral to mentoring, and we promote brainstorming, devising strategies, exchanging ideas, and working together to tackle challenges.
